Acclaimed as an artist of unusual sensitivity and virtuosity, Thurnauer faculty member pianist Steven Masi has performed extensively throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and India. His recent performances and recordings of the complete Beethoven sonatas have been praised in the press. Fanfare Magazine has written, “It is not exaggerating to suggest that Masi belongs with the elite in the late sonatas, providing as satisfying an experience as the likes of Solomon, Kempff, and Pollini.”
